In 2008 Laura started Salty Wahine after retiring from a 30 year career in the travel industry. In a few short years, Laura took the company global earning exporter of the year for the State of Hawaii in 2012 and 2017. Laura has passed her knowledge of customer service, business and culinary skills to son Sean and daughter in Law Jessika so that she and husband Dave can travel the world marketing Salty Wahine via food and trade shows thus accumulating 44 international product awards.
