Wow! That’s the first word that comes to mind. Was given a pack of the Hot Lava by a relative that makes frequent trips to Hawaii. She know I love to cook so she brought me a couple of the salts to try. I’ll have to admit I thought this one looked a bit funny being so black. However, I think it may have been the best chargrilled ribeye I’ve ever made crusted with this stuff. I applied pretty liberally and let sit for about 15-20minutes. My buddy’s all want to take my bag of it. They ain’t getting it! Will have to be extra nice to my relative to score some more on the next trip!
